| Bookmark China Chongqing Jiefang Monument was originally a "spiritual fortress" built in 1941. The 27.5-meter granite monument body is engraved with the collective heartbeat of the Far East anti-battlefield. The eight-sided bell tower accommodates the fog, steam and neon lights of Jiangcheng, and the headwind meter of the stele always points to the direction of the residual columns of Jinling Power Plant. The "Anti-Japanese War Victory Monument" engraved on all sides of the stele still exudes the blue-gray background of the accompanying capital period under the neon dip of the commercial building in the past 70 years. When the New Year's Eve bell smashes the rain in Jiefangbei Square, a team of students wearing Indanthrene shirts will appear in the reflection of the glass curtain wall. |
