Chongqing Yangtze River Cableway

"Bookmark-Chongqing Yangtze River Cableway was built in 1986 and officially operated in 1987. It is China's first self-designed and self-built cross-river passenger cableway. It is 1,166 meters long and crosses the Yangtze River to connect Xinhua Road in Yuzhong District and Shangxin Street in Nan'an District. It is known as the "first aerial corridor of the Yangtze River".
It is a national 4A-level tourist attraction and was selected as a "new landmark of Chinese urban cultural tourism". It is called "air bus" and "mountain city air bus" by netizens.
It carries the collective memory of "cross-river commuting" of old Chongqing people and is a classic representative of Chongqing's "magic three-dimensional transportation."
